The Unreality Archive is a multimedia worldbuilding project disguised as a chaotic, early-2000s-style website. It mimics the aesthetics of ARGs, paranormal wikis, and fan-driven folklore forums to question how online spaces construct and legitimise knowledge. Drawing on digital hoaxes and conspiratorial internet ephemera, it uses fiction and spectacle to destabilise expectations around credibility and truth. Each fictional contributor—Walter, Blake, and Westmere—has a distinct visual language that reflects their worldview, with medium and technique chosen to mirror their internal logic. This led me to refine my digital rendering skills in order to emulate traditional media more convincingly, allowing the emotional and cultural tone of each character to shape the visual form their work takes.
